Fashion police looks at youth in china.
Hip to be a communist notwithstanding, our usual impressions of chinese youth happen not to vary far from this. And it seems tough for them to get the look right apart from looking effortlessly studious and thrifty. Yet all is not lost for chinese youth. I'd noticed that chinese youth can in fact look very trendy if they try to attain the indie punk, especially fitting for people of small stature, like asians, like chinese who genetically speaking do not usually have alot of muscles or boobs and even if so, won't look good with muscles or boobs anyway. It is tough not to associate the indie punk with chain-smoking, hard drinking and a slob of a lifestyle a la trainspotting and the gig-going tough boys of the stylish alternative. But I think it ain't that bad a link, it's high time we need some bad boys (and girls) to make a statement and dispel the myths.
