Fear in the mind is worse than anything.
Someone in the documentary had said. Someone outside of it gave a review here. Last week I had spent the first day post-exams cooped in a cinema for 4.5hrs digesting a history textbook of overly-tangled facts misunderstandings emotions stubbornness ills. I learnt that, jews are a religious categorization (absolutely sure) and that sometimes you really can't tell a jew, an arab, an israeli or a palestinian israeli apart. The bitter anger isn't worth it, baby. And that part about the judgment of solomon as a metaphor, pure beauty it is. While the real mother is the one who willingly gives up her child as the imposter demands a split, why is it such that the real mother isn't given back her child at all in reality? How long must her bloodied struggles last? Never mind that in these circumstances her child is land, is not alive, how many more of her other sons must be sacrificed before justice will prevail? If, at all.
