Self-service birthday celebration (sexy red top and cigarettes not included).
In yet another bid to up the glam factor of heartlander facilities (remember n.e.w.t.), we celebrated the berry's birthday in a cozy thomson road coffeeshop quite unlike the young spendthrifts at n.y.d.c. or one of those swanky coffee joints. We think our parents ought to be very proud of us. Look, we even da-baoed our own cake (slice) to save money. No candles and no teenage waiters in neatly-pressed uniforms, we have the free whiff of steaming dim sum and chicken rice instead. Oh and the endearing dim sum auntie who remarked that our birthday celebration seem a little too rushed as she settled our bill.
