Congratulations shereen, we're gonna miss you.

The woman actually got married last saturday in a perfect muslim (in short, halal food and no alcohol - ack!) wedding. I can't believe I'm bordering onto that marriageable age phase already, this being my first girlfriend-type wedding unlike the usual (boring) family affair types. She got a bunch of us to help out at the reception welcoming guests and checking table numbers, a little chaotic but all's fine in the end.
We agreed that her wedding dinner quite doubled as the recent graduation dinner we all boycotted. Everyone's dressed in her best and all made up, and more importantly we're having twice the fun. With omer having a beard these days, we are joking on how shereen could perhaps pen an autobiography soon, somewhat along the lines of "I am married to a terrorist - A singaporean girl's journey to wales, al qaeda and beyond", heh.
She's leaving for wales tomorrow, and likely not coming back in the near future. Be happy and don't forget us because we'll probably need to bunk in at your place when we head europe next time. Remember if you ever need an au pair one day, you sure know where to look. -wink-
